How does it work?

Our custom questionnaire gathers your basic background information into one place, so we can bypass simple discovery questions during our consultation – and instead, discuss the highlights of your career, your top value points and your goals going forward.

This is one of the first steps of the process that we do differently – the questionnaire is only 10 questions, and 3 of them you may skip if you already have a current resume. However, those remaining questions are hard-hitting – and will bring you out of your comfort zone, push you to think more strategically about your experience – and help you review your background with a new lens to answer the question… “What unique value do I bring to the table?”

Further – we will push you for more information in the questionnaire, if needed. We never settle for “good enough.”

After we receive the questionnaire from you (and it has everything we need to create a robust consultation), we send a link to schedule your personal one-on-one consultation – included with all resume package purchases.

We use this time to dive much deeper into your background to discover what makes you a contender in your industry, and why you are unique – as well as dig into your career accomplishments, and personal story. Further, we help you prep up your elevator pitch and talking points.

This step of the process is something we offer that is vastly different than most in our industry. It is designed not only to write your resume – but create valuable and robust conversations with actionable items for you to think about and work on – while we are creating your new resume & LinkedIn profile.

Then we begin writing – with your resume first draft is delivered in 5-business days.

  • Each round of edits are returned in 3-business days.
  • All packages include 30-calendar days of unlimited revisions after you receive the first draft of the resume – for edits & revisions of all materials. (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, etc).

We can also accommodate your rush order needs – pricing is based on your specific turnaround needs, and project parameters (As a starting point this can be an additional $199 and up).

Once your resume has been finalized, we will complete the remaining materials purchased – LinkedIn profile, cover letter, follow up letter, references page – per package purchased.

Secondary materials are delivered in 4-business days, and are completed all at once and delivered at the same time.

  • Each round of edits are returned in 3-business days.
  • The 30-calendar days of edits timer does NOT start over, it is a continuation from when the resume 1st draft was delivered

Once all materials are finalized, we send you a link to schedule your follow-up coaching session, which must be held within two (2) weeks of completion of your materials.

We can use this time together to polish up your elevator speech; perform interview prep; share insights on how to perform a job search that actually yields results; provide you with a custom LinkedIn tutorial with guidance on how to utilize it for your specific goals – this session can be used in whichever ways you will find the most value.

Our goal after this final step? You are ready to run from the gate with your new materials, fully confident in your new tools and how to use them, and able to speak to your career and accomplishments with confidence to set you apart from your competition.

How long will it take?

  • Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm Central Time, and Fridays 9am-5pm Central Time
  • The questionnaire: Some people return it in 30 minutes, others need 1-2 days to gather their career metrics/quantifiables
  • Your personal one-on-one consultation will be scheduled for a date/time that works best for your schedule
  • Edits: All packages include 30-calendar days of unlimited revisions after receiving the first draft of the resume – for edits & revisions of all materials. (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, etc).
  • Resume first draft delivered in 5-business days
